Sign up & login
Login & plans — Sign up, subscriptions, dashboard chrome, and access tiers.
-
Create a new account: You join the school portal so the website knows who you are.
- Open the website and click Login / Sign Up, then Create new account.
- Use an email you can actually open. A code may be sent there.
- Pick a hint question and an answer you will remember in two years. The hint is how you reset a forgotten password. Birthday is just profile info — it does not reset the password.
- Submit. If a puzzle is shown, complete it.
- Rules & formulae:
- Password floor is 6 characters (same as reset).
- Puzzle only runs when the server has Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA keys.
- Google sign-in (AUTH-003) is another door. You can still set a password later so the phone app can use username + password.
- Benefits:
- Main: the robot and the broker keys belong to a named person, not “whoever wandered in”.
- Bonus: the same login works on website, desktop app, and phone.
- Fits the product goal: known, recoverable traders.
- Watch out:
- A weak hint answer is like leaving the spare key under a flower pot everyone knows.
- If you type a fake email and mail is required, you cannot finish.
-
Log in with username and password: You show your library card and walk into the control room for the day.
- Go to /login. Type username and password, or use Google.
- If the site says the email is not proven yet, open the code page instead of the dashboard.
- Forgot password? Use AUTH-005.
- Rules & formulae:
- Admin and Google users skip the email-proof gate.
- The phone twin is (AUTH-007). Same email gate. Unproven email → 403 on the phone API.
- Benefits:
- Main: prove it is you so the robot does not take orders from a stranger.
- Bonus: you do not retype all day.
- Watch out:
- Caps lock. Old password after a reset. Logging in on a shared computer without logging out later.
-
Google sign-in: You use your Google backpack pass instead of inventing a new password today.
- Click Google. Pick the Google account. Allow. You return to the dashboard.
- Later, if you want the phone app to use username + password, set a password in Home (HOME-006).
- Rules & formulae:
- Needs GOOGLE_OAUTH_ENABLED plus client id/secret.
- If Google is unhappy: address bar error=google_failed or google_unavailable.
- Benefits:
- Main: faster first day.
- Bonus: fewer forgotten web passwords.
- Watch out:
- Using a Google you cannot open later makes recovery harder unless you also set hint + password.
-
Email proof code: The website emails a short secret to prove the mailbox is really yours.
- Open the email. Type the code. If it expired, press Resend and wait about 60 seconds between sends.
- Rules & formulae:
- The code is emailed, never shown on the page in full as a cheat.
- Benefits:
- Main: recovery and bills go to a real mailbox.
- Bonus: fewer fake accounts.
- Watch out:
- Spam folder. Typing an old code after resend.
-
Forgot password: You prove you know the hint and own the mailbox, then pick a new door code.
- Type username. Answer the hint. Get a code in email.
- If you never set a hint (Google-first users), use the Google path: username + email.
- Type the code and a new password twice (at least 6 characters).
- Rules & formulae:
- DOB is not used. Hint answer is.
- Benefits:
- Main: you are not locked out forever.
- Bonus: no need to ping the website admin for every forgotten password.
- Watch out:
- If HOME-007 was skipped, the normal hint path cannot finish. Set recovery first while you still remember the password.
-
Log out (and the running-trade warning): You take off the wristband. If a live TradeEasy row is still running, the site asks you to think twice.
- Click Logout.
- If a warning appears, read it. It means stop/target watching on this browser session will stop.
- If a live fill still exists at the broker, you must watch it there — or stay logged in on the order computer.
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot must say: “Log out is not flatten.” Flatten is Exit Sig or EXIT ALL or the broker’s own exit.
- Cloud robot may keep running after browser logout. Desktop robot stops if you quit the app.
- Benefits:
- Main: a speed bump so you do not abandon a live stop.
- Bonus: teaches the difference between session logout, broker logout, and kill switch.
- Watch out:
- The most expensive mistake in this whole book: walking away from a live trade and thinking the website “will handle it” after logout on the order computer.
-
Phone / API login tokens: The phone app gets a short-lived pass (access token) and a refresh pass, instead of the website cookie.
- Open the phone app, type the same username and password (or follow the app’s Google path if offered). Allow notifications if you want pokes when a trade enters or exits.
- Rules & formulae:
- Unproven email blocks API login for ordinary members.
- Benefits:
- Main: watch funds and pokes without a browser.
- Bonus: stolen access passes age out.
- Watch out:
- Do not screenshot tokens. Treat them like passwords.
-
Speed limits and “are you a robot?” puzzles: The doors slam if someone hammers them too fast, and sign-up can ask a puzzle.
- Humans usually notice nothing. If you see a puzzle, complete it. If you see “too many requests”, wait a minute.
- Rules & formulae:
- Unproven email still blocks dashboard/API login for ordinary members.
- Benefits:
- Main: strangers cannot turn your account into a public Buy button.
- Bonus: less junk mail and less computer cost.
- Watch out:
- A buggy partner script can lock you out of webhooks for a minute. That is the bouncer, not a broken robot.
-
Which rooms you may enter: The hallway guard checks your wristband and your ticket before paid doors open.
- Try to open Market without a ticket. You should get a clear “need a subscription” — not a blank broken table.
- Rules & formulae:
- Free always: home, options, marketeasyai, broker, audit. Paid: market, tradeeasy, easyalgo.
- Benefits:
- Main: honest rooms.
- Bonus: you can still learn charts and option tables for ₹0.
- Watch out:
- Do not tell unpaid users to “just call the API anyway”. The guard is on purpose.
Plans & wallet
Login & plans — Sign up, subscriptions, dashboard chrome, and access tiers.
-
Daily, monthly, and yearly tickets: A ticket opens the scanner rooms and the robot sheets for a chosen window of India days.
- Open Subscription. Read what is free vs paid. Pick a start date that is not in the past. Quote shows the window and rupees. Then pay (SUB-003).
- Rules & formulae:
- No auto-renew. Free list: Home, Options, Chart, Market EasyAI, Broker, Audit. Paid extras: Market, TradeEasy, EasyAlgo.
- Default paise (tax inside): daily 15000 = ₹150, monthly 150000 = ₹1,500, yearly 1000000 = ₹10,000.
- Daily: end = start day. Monthly: (start plus one month) minus one day. Yearly: (start plus one year) minus one day. Stored as UTC edges of those India days.
- Benefits:
- Main: clear price for robot + scanners.
- Bonus: a daily ticket for one session without a yearly promise.
- Watch out:
- The Strategy Builder tab is also locked in the menu. The free-list text might not mention it. Trust the lock you see.
-
Rules when you buy a ticket: The website will not let you buy a silly overlapping ticket (past dates, downgrades, same plan twice).
- Pick start date ≥ today. If you already have a monthly/yearly, you generally cannot buy another until it ends. From daily you can step up; start of the higher plan is locked to the day after the daily ends.
- Rules & formulae:
- GST is already inside the ticket. AI Wallet is a different piggy bank.
- Benefits:
- Main: you choose the window.
- Bonus: no accidental double charge of the same plan.
- Watch out:
- Closing the pay window after you paid but before the thank-you page — SUB-003 webhook should still turn the ticket on. If not, wait a minute and refresh status.
-
Paying (Razorpay, and an old Stripe path): You pay the fair at a trusted pay window. TradeXecute never needs your full card number.
- Click pay. Finish Razorpay. Wait for the Subscribed badge. If the page dies after pay, wait — the webhook is the safety net.
- Rules & formulae:
- A created order is not a paid plan. Only verify or webhook activates.
- Benefits:
- Main: safe pay.
- Bonus: still activates if the thank-you page never loads.
- Watch out:
- Do not screenshot payment keys. Do not tell users to “mark paid in the database”.
-
Locked tabs and HTTP 402: Paid doors stay shut until the ticket is on. The menu looks locked, and the hidden APIs also refuse.
- Click a paid tab without a ticket. Read the alert. Go to /subscription. After pay, refresh — locks should lift.
- Rules & formulae:
- This is the user-facing truth even if a programmer finds an API that only checks login.
- Benefits:
- Main: honest gating.
- Bonus: a clear path to buy.
- Watch out:
- Do not teach unpaid users a “trick URL”.
-
AI Wallet (the AI piggy bank): You put rupees in a jar. Each AI answer or picture-reading spends some coins. The monthly ticket does not fill this jar.
- Check the balance. If it is below about ₹500 (or the computed minimum), top up. Then use Market EasyAI / screenshot / Strategy AI. Watch tokens, cost, and remaining.
- Rules & formulae:
- Used by MEAI, Strategy AI, TradeEasy vision. Separate from SUB-001.
- Tax split: gst = round(gross × 18 / 118), net = gross − gst. Dollar-to-rupee default 88.
- Minimum = the bigger of ₹500 (50000 paise) and a guess from average model prices × 10000 input tokens + 5000 output tokens.
- Cost: ceil(tokens × paise_per_million / 1_000_000). Flow: hold coins → ask AI → settle the real use, or give the hold back if it failed.
- Benefits:
- Main: pay only for the AI you actually use.
- Bonus: a research-only person can buy coins without the robot ticket, and a robot user can skip AI.
- Watch out:
- A long report can cost more than a tiny question. Check the quote if you are nervous.
Dashboard chrome
Login & plans — Sign up, subscriptions, dashboard chrome, and access tiers.
-
Left menu (every tab and sub-tab): The map of the house. Click a name, the room on the right changes. You do not reload the whole website.
- Click a parent, then a child. After a broker login the site may jump you back to the tab you came from (return_tab).
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot: “Where is ClosedTrade?” → EasyAlgo → ClosedTrade. Not under TradeEasy.
- Benefits:
- Main: one place for every job.
- Bonus: sub-tabs keep giant tables from stacking into a mess.
- Watch out:
- People hunt ClosedTrade in TradeEasy and think history vanished. It lives under EasyAlgo, and it also stores finished TradeEasy rows.
-
Top bar: Your name, the logo, a sun button, a ticket badge, AI Wallet, Subscribe, Logout. Admins also get Stop Server.
- Click the badge or Subscribe to pay. Click AI Wallet to top up. Click the sun to change look. Click Logout (AUTH-006).
- Rules & formulae:
- Stop Server is admin-only and shuts the process — not a user toy.
- Benefits:
- Main: status without opening Home.
- Bonus: one-click wallet or logout.
- Watch out:
- Do not press Stop Server on a live trading day unless you are the operator and you mean it.
-
Thin profit numbers under the header: Two lines of scores so you can glance while you are in another room.
- Look: TradeEasy P&L, EasyAlgo P&L, Total, Overall today, Available funds (hidden in paper), Net P&L After Tax. Paper line has the paper versions.
- Benefits:
- Main: see risk without leaving Chart or Market.
- Bonus: paper vs live split.
- Watch out:
- Do not treat the ticker as a tax return or as the broker’s official P&L.
-
“Files are updating” banner: Sometimes the site is downloading fresh lists of stocks and option contracts. A banner tells you it is working.
- If you just opened Options and symbols are empty, wait for this, or press Download FNO Master (OPT-002).
- Rules & formulae:
- Without masters, lot sizes and option names get stale.
- Benefits:
- Main: trust that today’s contract list is today’s.
- Bonus: fewer “unknown symbol” fights after expiry week.
- Watch out:
- Do not assume a missing symbol means “that company vanished”. The list may still be copying.
-
Dark look / light look: A sun button flips night mode and day mode. The site remembers your last pick on this browser.
- Click sun. If it hurts your eyes, click again.
- Rules & formulae:
- Cosmetic only.
- Benefits:
- Main: comfy long sessions.
- Bonus: no extra settings page.
- Watch out:
- None, unless you think dark mode “hides losses”. It does not.
Fund Details
Home — Funds, holdings, user settings, execution mode, and AI Wallet.
-
Fund Details — cash buckets: A snapshot of labelled money at the connected broker (margin, available, and other buckets the broker sends).
- Connect a broker and Get Access Token first. Open Home. Read the rupee buckets. If it is empty, the page should say to connect the broker — it should not crash.
- Rules & formulae:
- Paper mode does not invent live funds in the header. No token → no live funds.
- Benefits:
- Main: know if there is room for another lot before you arm a row.
- Bonus: confirm you are talking to the broker you think you are.
- Watch out:
- If funds look frozen, check token lights (TE-017) and whether your PC is the order computer and awake.
-
Holdings table: Stuff you already own at the broker (often delivery / CNC), with quantity, average buy, last price, and profit or loss.
- Scroll the table. Empty says “No holdings”.
- Rules & formulae:
- A stock in holdings can still be a different product type than an open Intraday robot row.
- Benefits:
- Main: see overnight stock.
- Bonus: avoid surprise duplicates.
- Watch out:
- Do not double a name you already hold unless you mean to.
-
Active Trade Value: How much the robot’s open rows are up or down, plus how many portal trades vs how many broker positions.
- If portal count is 1 and broker count is 2, stop and look. Do not invent a flatten. Check broker book, open grids, and ClosedTrade.
- Rules & formulae:
- Mismatch is a warning, not an automatic exit.
- Portal count = robot rows still entry_active. Broker count = exchange positions.
- Benefits:
- Main: catch “I thought I was flat”.
- Bonus: one-number robot P&L.
- Watch out:
- Orphan positions are how people get surprised overnight.
-
AI Wallet card on Home: The same piggy bank as SUB-005, shown on Home so you notice before you start a long AI report.
- Read balance and minimum. Top up if low.
- Rules & formulae:
- Same wallet as screenshot AI and Strategy AI.
- Benefits:
- Main: no surprise “out of coins” mid-report.
- Bonus: reminder that AI is not inside the monthly ticket.
- Watch out:
- Starting EasyAI at ₹0 just earns a 402.
User settings
Home — Funds, holdings, user settings, execution mode, and AI Wallet.
-
Profile and public id: Your ID card: username, name, mobile, email, hint, recovery status, public id. Birthday can be saved.
- Copy public id when you build external scan platform/external chart alert platform URLs or Audit samples. Save birthday if you want it on file.
- Rules & formulae:
- Public id is not a password, but it is a locator. Do not post it for fun.
- Benefits:
- Main: copy-paste identity for webhooks and logs.
- Bonus: profile completeness.
- Watch out:
- Support people will ask for public id, not for your password. Never send the password.
-
Change password / Set password: Rotate the door code, or create one if you first came in with Google.
- If you have an old password, type old + new. If Google-only, Set password with no old password. New password at least 6 characters.
- Rules & formulae:
- Needed for many phone logins after a Google-only web signup.
- Benefits:
- Main: rotate a leaked password.
- Bonus: unlock username+password on the phone.
- Watch out:
- Do not reuse the hint answer as the password.
-
Set up password recovery: A yellow banner nags until you store a recovery email and hint, so AUTH-005 can work later.
- Add the email that should get reset codes. Pick hint question and answer. Save. Google users may skip typing the old password for this step.
- Rules & formulae:
- Birthday still does not reset the password.
- Benefits:
- Main: spare key.
- Bonus: less support mail.
- Watch out:
- Skipping this is how people get stuck.
-
Who presses Buy: Cloud vs home PC: Either TradeXecute’s server sends orders, or your own PC does, while the public website still catches external scan platform/external chart alert platform knocks.
- Read the card. If it says Cloud-to-Desktop, keep the desktop app running while live. If you see migrate buttons (Retry / Force finish / Abort), a move between cloud and PC is in progress — do not arm new live rows until it finishes.
- Rules & formulae:
- Never paste localhost into external scan platform. external scan platform cannot knock on a bedroom PC.
- Benefits:
- Main: you always know which machine is the real remote.
- Bonus: a home PC behind NAT can still use public doorbells.
- Watch out:
- Closing the laptop lid on desktop_relay is like taking the batteries out of the remote while the TV (broker position) is still on.
-
Daily Intraday profit / loss whistle: Optional rupee limits for same-day real trades. If today’s Intraday score crosses a line, open Intraday rows are told to exit, and new Intraday entries wait.
- Type an overall profit target in rupees and/or a loss limit. Save. If you are halted, Reset halt, or wait until the next India calendar day.
- Rules & formulae:
- Does not flatten CNC. Does not replace each row’s own stop.
- Today’s Intraday score (IST) = sum of open Intraday tmppl + sum of Intraday closed today profit_loss (TradeEasy + EasyAlgo).
- If overall_profit > 0 and score ≥ that number → halt reason profit.
- If overall_loss > 0 and score ≤ minus that number → halt reason loss.
- Benefits:
- Main: a lucky or unlucky day cannot recurse forever.
- Bonus: pairs with EXIT ALL for a full stop.
- Watch out:
- A 423 is not “the website died”. It is the whistle. Reset or wait until tomorrow IST.
-
Extra login for Fundamental Scanner: A second school login used only to fetch company numbers (profit, debt) from fundamental data provider — not live prices, not your TradeXecute password.
- Save email + password for that data site. If you leave it empty, the server may use a shared login from its own settings.
- Rules & formulae:
- Saved screens can sync between cloud and desktop.
- Benefits:
- Main: saved fundamental queries keep working.
- Bonus: you are not typing that login every scan.
- Watch out:
- Do not paste your TradeXecute password here unless it is truly the same (it usually should not be).
-
Diary extraction key: A hallway pass so a computer program can download your diary without using your website password. You see the full key only once.
- Click Generate. Copy immediately. Paste into the Python/JS samples on Audit. Treat it like a password.
- Rules & formulae:
- Rotate when staff leave.
- Benefits:
- Main: accountants/scripts pull logs safely.
- Bonus: website password stays off those scripts.
- Watch out:
- If you close the page without copying, generate again.
-
Your own AI keys: Optional extra keys for Gemini/OpenAI/Claude/Perplexity, plus platform Groq/OpenRouter. Mostly shown to admins on the web.
- Admin sets platform keys. Power users may add their own. Empty falls back to platform. Wallet still billed unless admin bypass.
- Rules & formulae:
- Secrets. Never paste them into chat with strangers.
- Benefits:
- Main: bring your own brain.
- Bonus: admin can standardise a default list.
- Watch out:
- A wrong key looks like “AI is down”.
Market Scanner
Market scans — Scanner, liquidity, technical, heatmap, stock and fundamental tools.
-
Market Scanner: The main playground view: who is up, who is down, and how healthy each sector looks, refreshed about every 5 minutes during market hours.
- Open Market → Market Scanner.
- Wait for Last / Next times (about every 5 minutes while the market is open).
- Filter by sector or lot size if you only care about certain names.
- Read the Sector Advances bar chart, then the tables (gainers, losers, index stats).
- Hover a name → Trade (MKT-007) or click a row to peek a external chart alert platform picture.
- Rules & formulae:
- This is a homework hint, not a promise. Heat can vanish in the next 5 minutes.
- Benefits:
- Main: see heat without opening 20 websites.
- Bonus: jump from a sector bar to names.
- Product goal: look → then decide on TradeEasy/EasyAlgo.
- Watch out:
- Do not treat a 5-minute-old gainer as a live order. Confirm LTP on the robot sheet or at the broker.
-
Trade from Market (the floating Trade button): A helper that translates a scanner ticker into the exact code your broker understands (NSE or BSE), then offers TradeEasy or EasyAlgo.
- Hover the name. Click Trade. Wait for the broker check. A tick means “yes, this broker knows this line”.
- Pick NSE or BSE if both appear. For EasyAlgo, pick which watchlist source the row should use.
- Choose TradeEasy or EasyAlgo. Then still set hallway, stop, and target. This modal does not place the order.
- Rules & formulae:
- The 5-second robot still must see an entry signal later. Dummy hallway 10000/10001 may still be on a fresh row — change it.
- Benefits:
- Main: no more typing NSE:ITC-EQ by hand and getting it wrong.
- Secondary: same idea as Options hover Trade.
- Watch out:
- Picking the wrong exchange (NSE vs BSE) is a real money mistake. Read the tick.
Liquidity Scanner
Market scans — Scanner, liquidity, technical, heatmap, stock and fundamental tools.
-
Liquidity Scanner: A checklist of F&O names across Week, Day, 4 hour, 1 hour, and 15 minute pictures. It asks: do the pictures agree?
- Pick a preferred timeframe (the “target clock”).
- Optionally cap max lot size so giant contracts hide.
- Read ticks, TargetTF, TGT25/50/75/100, LotSize, CMP, Condition (Bullish/Bearish).
- Hover a TF cell for an OHLC tooltip (open/high/low/close of that clock).
- Export CSV if you want Excel. Hover Trade on trade-zone cells.
- Rules & formulae:
- ? is not a sell signal. It means “we could not fetch that clock in time”.
- Benefits:
- Main: avoid mixed messages.
- Bonus: lot cap hides huge contracts you cannot (or should not) trade.
- Watch out:
- A name strong on 15 minutes and weak on the week is a common trap. That is why this board exists.
Technical Scanner
Market scans — Scanner, liquidity, technical, heatmap, stock and fundamental tools.
-
Technical Scanner: A report card of many little tests rolled into a strength band: Extreme / Strong / Moderate Bullish or Bearish, or WAIT.
- Open the table. Green-ish = more up tests, red-ish = more down tests.
- Filter by signal band or max lot. Export CSV if needed.
- Hover Trade if you want to send a name to the robot — still set your own stop. A high score is homework, not a promise.
- Rules & formulae:
- WAIT means not enough agreement. It is a valid answer, not a broken page.
- Refresh 600 seconds. RSI_BULLISH = 50, RSI_BEARISH = 30.
- buy_count / sell_count → Extreme Bullish if buy ≥ 10; Strong Bullish ≥ 7; Moderate Bullish ≥ 4 and buy > sell; mirror for bearish; else WAIT.
- pct_change = (close − prev_close) / prev_close × 100. gap_value = open − prev_close.
- Benefits:
- Main: many indicators become one readable band.
- Bonus: WAIT teaches disagreement.
- Watch out:
- Do not turn Extreme Bullish into “I must buy now” in the chatbot’s mouth.
HEATMAP
Market scans — Scanner, liquidity, technical, heatmap, stock and fundamental tools.
-
HEATMAP: A coloured mosaic. Bright green tiles rose more. Red tiles fell more. Groups include broad, sector, theme, and strategy indices.
- Pick a group on the left, then an index.
- Click into names. Use Back to return.
- Turn on Streaming or press Refresh.
- Clicking an index can also filter Market Scanner to those constituents.
- Rules & formulae:
- This is percent change colour, not fundamentals.
- Benefits:
- Main: your eye finds hot and cold corners.
- Bonus: one click into a sector’s names.
- Watch out:
- A bright tile can reverse. It is a snapshot, even when streaming.
Stock Scanner
Market scans — Scanner, liquidity, technical, heatmap, stock and fundamental tools.
-
Stock Scanner: Inside hot and cold sectors: today’s leaders and laggards, with F&O vs not-F&O filter, caring about the opening range from the first 9:15 IST 3-minute candle.
- Open the tab (it loads when you visit).
- Filter All / FnO / Non FnO.
- Optional streaming.
- Hover Trade can offer the cash name plus nearby option strikes (ITM1/2, ATM, OTM1/2) if it is F&O and options are included.
- Rules & formulae:
- Opening range is from that first 3-minute candle at 9:15 IST — a special “morning box”.
- Benefits:
- Main: jump from sector heat to a short list.
- Bonus: option shortcuts without visiting Options first.
- Watch out:
- Option choices still need you to set stops. This is a helper, not an order.
Fundamental Scanner
Market scans — Scanner, liquidity, technical, heatmap, stock and fundamental tools.
-
Fundamental Scanner: A Lego query builder for company facts (profit, debt, and so on), not a live price radar. Filters join with AND (all must be true).
- Search a word like ROCE or debt, or pick Category → Parameter → Query term.
- Choose an operator (greater than, less than, equal) and a value. Add filter.
- Read the definition box so you know what the number means.
- Fetch stocks. Save the scanner with a name if you will reuse it. Download Excel if you like.
- Rules & formulae:
- AND means every filter must pass. There is no OR in the builder.
- Query string is AND joins of `{term} {operator} {value}`. Operators: >, <, >=, <=, =.
- Benefits:
- Main: keep a shopping list of companies that match your rules.
- Bonus: reusable saved screens.
- Watch out:
- This will not tell you the price right now. Pair with Chart/Options if you later trade.
Options
F&O chain, PCR, max pain, Greeks, and trade handoff.
-
Option chain table: A big table of tickets. Left = CALLS. Right = PUTS. Middle = strike (the chosen price). A star marks ATM, the strike closest to the live spot price.
- Pick a symbol, then an expiry date. Press Refresh if needed.
- If the list is empty or old, Download FNO Master (OPT-002) and wait.
- Read SPOT (now price), ATM star, PCR, MAX PAIN.
- Read LTP, volume, open interest, IV%, delta. OI on screen is contracts × lot size so it matches how brokers often show it.
- Hover a call or put → Trade (OPT-004).
- Rules & formulae:
- This tab is free. Sending a strike to the robot still needs a paid TradeEasy/EasyAlgo ticket to actually run the sheet.
- If Greeks are missing, delta is Black-Scholes with r = 0.065. d1 = (ln(S/K) + (r + 0.5σ²)T) / (σ√T). CALL delta = N(d1). PUT delta = N(d1) − 1.
- Benefits:
- Main: the whole ticket ladder in one place.
- Bonus: Greeks/IV without a second vendor tab.
- Watch out:
- Numbers can be blank at 9:16. Wait. Do not invent them.
-
Download FNO Master: A background download of the official-ish list of futures and options underlyings so the symbol dropdown is not empty or last month’s list.
- Press Download FNO Master. Wait. Symbols come back. If it fails, try again (NSE can be busy).
- Rules & formulae:
- Not an order. Retry is OK.
- Benefits:
- Main: expiries and names stay current after contract changes.
- Bonus: lot maps used by OI display.
- Watch out:
- Clicking this does not buy NIFTY.
-
ATM star, PCR, and max pain maths: Three popular option numbers computed for you. PCR uses the WHOLE chain, not only the 15 rungs you see.
- Read them. If someone asks “is PCR only on the window?”, answer: no. Full chain put OI ÷ full chain call OI.
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot must not compute PCR on the ±15 window. That would disagree with this product.
- PCR = round(full_put_oi / full_call_oi, 2) if full_call_oi else 0. Raw contract counts (lot size cancels in a ratio).
- Benefits:
- Main: popular maths without Excel.
- Bonus: the ATM star orients the ladder.
- Watch out:
- PCR > 1 is not “must buy”. It is a ratio of open interest.
-
Trade from a call or put cell: Hover a ticket on the ladder, resolve the exact option code for your active broker, send it to TradeEasy or EasyAlgo.
- Hover. Trade. Wait for resolve. Pick TradeEasy or EasyAlgo. Edit dummy hallway. Start PAPER if you are learning.
- Benefits:
- Main: no typing of ugly option codes.
- Bonus: fewer wrong-expiry mistakes.
- Watch out:
- Wrong expiry is a classic miss. Check the expiry you picked at the top.
Charts
Charts — Multi-pane charts, indicators, and Chart Replay practice.
-
Multi-pane live charts: Price drawn as candles (each candle is one time box: open, high, low, close). You can show 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 panes. The site remembers how many you last used (default 4).
- Open Chart → Charts. Pick how many panes.
- Per pane: type a symbol, pick source, pick timeframe.
- Watch the last price on the pane header. A connection dot shows the live tick pipe.
- Rules & formulae:
- Does not place orders. Indicators are CHT-002.
- Benefits:
- Main: study shape before you arm a hallway.
- Bonus: several names at once.
- Watch out:
- A pretty chart is not a fill. Do not say “the chart bought it”.
-
Chart indicators: Extra lines and oscillators on the candles: EMA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger, VWAP, volume profile, and more from a catalog.
- Press Indicators. Add what you want. Remove clutter if the pane looks noisy.
- Rules & formulae:
- Visual only. A Strategy Builder rule is a different machine (SB-004).
- Benefits:
- Main: study without leaving TradeXecute.
- Bonus: same families of words as Strategy Builder.
- Watch out:
- Ten indicators is not ten times smarter. It is often ten times noisier.
Chart Replay
Charts — Multi-pane charts, indicators, and Chart Replay practice.
-
Chart Replay (practice movie): A practice film of old candles. You play, pause, and step. It never sends orders, never spends AI coins, never talks to the broker.
- Open Chart Replay. Play/pause/step. Practice your eye. When you want a real or paper order, go to TradeEasy or EasyAlgo yourself.
- Rules & formulae:
- Replay cannot prove a live strategy. Backtest (SB-008) is the history exam for rules.
- Benefits:
- Main: train without rupees.
- Bonus: safe for teaching a 12-year-old what a candle is.
- Watch out:
- Do not confuse replay with live fills.
TradeEasy
Band entry, SL/TSL/target, partials, and the 5-second engine.
-
Add a symbol (and the search box): Start a new row on the sheet for one idea. One open row per symbol.
- Type the code or search. Press + Add Symbol.
- Check Lot_Size filled from the instrument list. The list wins over a stale “1” from the browser.
- Until you set real prices, the row sits unarmed with dummy hallway 10000–10001, PAPER mode, lot 1, tsl 2, a placeholder target 11000, RR sentinels 10000, status Added.
- Rules & formulae:
- Closed rows are archived. A new add is allowed after exit_done.
- normalize_trade_symbol_for_portal(). Duplicate open symbol → 409. validate_symbol_and_get_quote(). Lot_Size = max(mapped_lot, form_lot).
- Benefits:
- Main: one row per idea.
- Bonus: lot size from the master avoids wrong quantity.
- Watch out:
- Leaving 10000/10001 and flipping to INTRADAY is how accidents happen. Set a real hallway first.
-
Trade Entry sheet (your knobs): Twenty-nine columns. You turn knobs while idle. Several freeze when the row is running so you cannot shrink lots mid-flight.
- Read columns left to right: Actions (Edit / Delete — Delete disabled while running), SNo, Symbol, Display, Lot_Size, Lot, Live/Paper, Limit Upper, Price Lower, %/Pts·SL, SL (calculated), Target, TSL, Entry Sig, Exit Sig, Part.Lot, Part.Target, Direction, PnL, LTP, Entry PRC, Exit PRC, RR1.5, RR1.2, RR1.3, RStopLS, EntSig, ExtSig, Status.
- While idle you may change lots, mode, hallway, SL, target, TSL, partials, direction.
- While running you can usually still change Target, RStopLS, and Exit Sig. Entry Sig goes dark after entry_active.
- Rules & formulae:
- Change knobs here, not on Sheet1. Sheet1 is the carbon copy.
- Benefits:
- Main: describe the plan once.
- Bonus: running locks prevent mid-air surgery.
- Watch out:
- Editing Lot while you think it is idle but the robot already filled — the lock is there to save you.
-
Live Sheet1 (robot notebook): Forty-eight columns the robot fills: candles, qty, order ids, errors, remaining quantity, paper flag, entry_active, exit_done.
- Watch Open/High/Low/LTP/Volume/Bid/Ask/Close, Qty, Dir, ProdType, EntSig, ExtSig, EntryPRC, ExitPRC, parts, Error, Target, SL, RStopLoss, TrailSL, TmpPL, ProfitLoss, ParPL, Status, order IDs, Remark, RespErr, Paper, EntActive, ExitDone, PartExitDone, Comment, SLRange. StopPrc shows 0 (old leftover). LimPrc mirrors Limit Upper.
- Rules & formulae:
- Do not treat Sheet1 as Excel you type into.
- Each tick: price = Price Lower, limit_price = Limit Upper, trailingsl = TSL.
- qty = Lot × Lot_Size. partial_qty = Part.Lot × Lot_Size. remaining_qty = qty − partial_qty before entry, then it shrinks on partial exit.
- paper_trading = (Live/Paper is PAPER). product_type = INTRADAY or CNC or PAPER.
- Benefits:
- Main: see fill, ids, leftover qty.
- Bonus: support can debug from Remark.
- Watch out:
- RespErr and Remark are where “broker said no” shows up. Read them before blaming the hallway.
-
How many pieces: Lot × Lot_Size: Quantity is boxes times items in a box. Partial quantity uses the same box size.
- Set Lot_Size from the master (usually correct). Set Lot as how many lots you want. Set Part.Lot if you want a partial.
- Rules & formulae:
- Wrong Lot_Size ⇒ wrong shares at the exchange. The add-symbol path prefers the master over a stale 1.
- qty = (lot or 1) × (lot_size or 1). partial_qty = (partiallot or 0) × (lot_size or 1). Broker order uses these numbers.
- Benefits:
- Main: simple boxes × items mental model.
- Bonus: partials are also in lots, not random leftover shares.
- Watch out:
- Options have their own lot size (NIFTY 65 and so on). Do not copy an equity 1 into an option row.
-
PAPER, INTRADAY, and CNC: PAPER is pretend. INTRADAY is real money meant to finish today. CNC is real money that may sleep overnight.
- Learn in PAPER. When you really mean it, switch to INTRADAY (or CNC) before the row is running. After it is running, the mode is frozen.
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot: start people in PAPER. Switching to INTRADAY is a real-money decision.
- Benefits:
- Main: practice then go live without a second product.
- Bonus: funds fail-safe avoids a burst of rejected live orders.
- Watch out:
- CNC ignores the Intraday whistle. People forget that and wonder why a delivery trade did not halt.
-
The hallway (Price Lower / Limit Upper) and dummy 10000/10001: If last price walks into the hallway, the robot raises the entry flag. The dummy hallway 10000–10001 is a seatbelt so a cash stock at ₹400 cannot walk in by accident.
- For a BUY you care about, set Lower and Upper around where you actually want to enter (example: 398 and 402).
- Or press Entry Sig to skip waiting for the hallway (still needs LTP > 0 to send a live order).
- Never “fix” a new row by leaving 10000/10001.
- Rules & formulae:
- Manual Entry Sig can bypass waiting for the hallway, not bypass waiting for a real LTP on live.
- Auto: if not entry_active and entry_signal==0 and both sides > 0 and Price Lower ≤ LTP ≤ Limit Upper → entry_signal=1, status “Entry Signal Generated”.
- Benefits:
- Main: enter only in the planned zone (or by an honest button).
- Bonus: dummy band is the seatbelt for new rows.
- Watch out:
- This is the number-one chatbot question after “why didn’t it buy?”. Answer: still on dummy hallway, or LTP 0, or master off (EasyAlgo), or unpaid, or halt.
-
Entry logic — the full recipe the robot follows: About every 5 seconds the robot walks a list of steps. Entry only happens if the entry flag is up, the row is not already filled, the exit flag is down, and there is no error sticker.
- Set hallway / press Entry Sig / send API row.
- Watch status: Added → Entry Signal Generated → (maybe awaiting LTP) → filled (entry_active) with Entry PRC.
- If it says broker not connected, Get Access Token. If it says awaiting LTP, fix quotes (BRK-003).
- Rules & formulae:
- Entry will not run if exit_signal is already 1 (avoids enter+exit in one confused tick). Two clicks cannot buy twice (SYS-010).
- 4) Auto or manual entry_signal=1. Mirror EntSig. If already filled, keep entry_signal=1 but do not send a second buy.
- 6) EXECUTE ENTRY if entry_signal==1 AND not entry_active AND exit_signal==0 AND not responseerror. PAPER → pretend fill at LTP. LIVE → funds check, one-winner database lock, broker order.
- Benefits:
- Main: boring, repeatable entry.
- Bonus: waiting-for-LTP instead of a zero-price disaster.
- Watch out:
- People mash Entry Sig while LTP is 0 and think the site is broken. It is waiting on purpose.
-
Exit logic — only after a real fill: The robot may raise an exit flag when target or running-stop is hit, or when you press Exit Sig. It will only send the exit order if entry_active is true (the entry really filled).
- To leave now: press Exit Sig (after you see a real Entry PRC).
- Or let target / RStopLoss do it.
- Watch Exit PRC, ProfitLoss, then the row vanish into EasyAlgo → ClosedTrade (yes, TradeEasy history lives there too).
- Rules & formulae:
- target 0 means “not set”. New rows may still have placeholder 11000. Users should overwrite 11000. If they leave 11000, cash stocks may never hit it; some indices/options might.
- TradeEasy auto-exit (code as written): if filled and not done and exit_signal still 0: if (target>0 and LTP ≥ target) OR (rstoploss>0 and LTP ≤ rstoploss) → exit_signal=1, status Exit Signal Generated, save immediately.
- Manual: exitsignal=1 copies to exit_signal.
- Execute: if filled and exit_signal==1 and not exit_done: paper exit or live market remaining qty, with a one-winner lock on exit_order_id.
- BUY full-exit money = remaining × (exit − entry) + already-banked partial. SELL full-exit money = remaining × (entry − exit) + partial. Then archive.
- Benefits:
- Main: leave when the plan says so, only after a real fill.
- Bonus: history in the diary tab.
- Watch out:
- Exit Sig before fill should not send a naked sell. If a user reports that, it is a regression of the fill guard.
-
Stop-loss: percent, points, or a typed price: Three ways to say “I’m wrong”. After the fill, the robot turns your choice into a rupee price SL, then copies it to the running stop if the running stop was still zero.
- Pick PCT, PTS, or PRICE. Type the number. For PRICE on a BUY, the stop must sit below Price Lower. For SELL, above Limit Upper.
- Rules & formulae:
- TradeEasy allows all three. EasyAlgo: PCT or PTS only (EA-011). Screenshot import uses PRICE (TE-015) — confirm the number.
- Percent BUY: SL = round(entry × (1 − pct/100), 2). Percent SELL: round(entry × (1 + pct/100), 2).
- Points BUY: round(entry − pts, 2). Points SELL: round(entry + pts, 2).
- Price: SL = round(the number you typed, 2). If the formula would go below 0, it becomes 1.0 (cheap options + huge points).
- Number story: BUY entry 400, 2% → SL = 392.00. Risk = |400 − 392| = 8. That 8 is the seed for RR prices (TE-012).
- Benefits:
- Main: one field, three languages for “I’m wrong”.
- Bonus: PRICE vs hallway check stops a stop inside the entry zone.
- Watch out:
- Typing 2 in PTS when you meant 2% is a totally different stop (2 rupees vs 8 rupees on a 400 stock).
-
Target (the happy price): An absolute price where you are willing to smile and leave. You can tighten it while the trade is running.
- Type a real target. Do not leave 11000 unless you truly want 11000.
- Rules & formulae:
- Does not trail.
- TradeEasy BUY-shaped auto: LTP ≥ target. EasyAlgo SELL: LTP ≤ target. target 0 = off.
- Benefits:
- Main: “that’s enough” exit.
- Bonus: can tighten without changing the stop language.
- Watch out:
- Placeholder 11000 on new TradeEasy rows.
-
Trailing stop (TSL) — the sliding door: A stop that only moves in the winning direction, in steps of TSL points, based on how much profit you have in whole steps.
- Example: set TSL = 2. After fill, watch RStopLS climb (BUY) or drop (SELL) as profit grows. You may still type RStopLS; the next tick may move it again.
- Rules & formulae:
- TSL never loosens by itself. RR override can still jump the stop to a different rule (including, at 2R, entry+5 which can be looser than a 1.5R lock — see TE-012).
- BUY: profit = max(0, LTP − entry). current_units = floor(profit / TSL). previous_units = floor((RStopLoss − SL) / TSL) if that difference ≥ 0 else 0. If current_units > previous_units: RStopLoss += (current_units − previous_units) × TSL.
- SELL: profit = max(0, entry − LTP); previous_units from (SL − RStopLoss); RStopLoss -= the extra steps.
- Number story: entry 400, SL 392, TSL 2, LTP 406. Profit 6. floor(6/2)=3 steps. If RStopLoss was still 392, add 6 → 398.
- Benefits:
- Main: give winners room without giving back the whole move.
- Bonus: point steps are easy to count.
- Watch out:
- TSL = 0 means “do not trail”. People set 0 by accident and wonder why the stop is stuck.
-
RR1.5 / RR1.2 / RR1.3 and “what if price reaches RR1.5?”: After fill, the sheet shows three homework prices at 1.5×, 2×, and 3× your risk. The labels say RR1.2 and RR1.3 but the maths is 2.0 and 3.0. If last price reaches the 1.5× price, the running stop jumps to that 1.5× price — until price goes past the 2× price, which uses a different rule.
- After a fill, read RR1.5 / RR1.2 / RR1.3. Remember: RR1.2 column = 2× risk, RR1.3 column = 3× risk.
- Ask “what happens at RR1.5?” → use the number story below, not a generic textbook.
- Rules & formulae:
- EasyAlgo SELL mirror: if LTP < rr12 → entry−5; else if rr13 < LTP ≤ rr15 → RStopLoss=rr15; else if LTP ≤ rr13 → rr13+5. Same first-branch dominance at 2×.
- risk = |entry − SL|. BUY: rr15 = entry + 1.5×risk, rr12 = entry + 2.0×risk, rr13 = entry + 3.0×risk. SELL: minus those.
- if LTP > rr12: RStopLoss = round(entry + 5, 2) # past 2× risk: lock about 5 points above entry
- else if rr15 ≤ LTP < rr13: RStopLoss = rr15 # at/after 1.5× and still below 3×: lock at 1.5× price
- else if LTP ≥ rr13: RStopLoss = round(rr13 − 5, 2) # meant for 3×, but see dead branch
- DEAD BRANCH: on BUY, rr12 < rr13, so LTP ≥ rr13 already passed “LTP > rr12”. The third line never runs. At/above 2× (including 3×) the stop becomes entry+5.
- Entry 400, SL 392, risk 8 → rr15=412, rr12=416, rr13=424.
- LTP 412 (reaches RR1.5): second branch. RStopLoss = 412. If price later falls back to 412, exit fires because LTP ≤ RStopLoss.
- LTP 413 to 415.99: still RStopLoss = 412.
- LTP 417 (above the RR1.2 column / 2×): first branch. RStopLoss = 405. That can be LOOSER than 412. Say so.
- Sentinel rr=10000 means “not calculated yet”.
- Benefits:
- Main: see 1.5× / 2× / 3× of the same risk you used in the stop.
- Bonus: automatic stop promotion at 1.5× — with honest talk about the 2× entry+5 quirk.
- Watch out:
- Never explain RR1.2 as “1.2 times risk”. It is 2 times. Never skip the 1.5× lock story.
-
Partial exit (sell some, let the rest run): If you set Part.Lot and Part.Target, a BUY can take some quantity off when last price reaches that happier price, then let the rest ride with the trailing stop.
- Example: Qty 150, Part.Lot 1 with Lot_Size 50 → 50 pieces come off at Part.Target if it is above entry. Remaining 100 keep going.
- Rules & formulae:
- Partial target must be better than entry or it will not fire.
- Needs filled, not already partialed, partial_qty>0, partial target>0, BUY, LTP ≥ partial target, and partial target > entry. Then paper or live partial. par_pl = partial_qty × (LTP − entry) at that moment. remaining_qty shrinks.
- Benefits:
- Main: bank some qty, let the rest run.
- Bonus: less all-or-nothing.
- Watch out:
- Setting Part.Target below entry on a BUY = never fires.
-
Live profit number and history: While open, PnL is remaining pieces times the move, plus any partial already banked. When done, the row is filed in ClosedTrade.
- Watch PnL while running. At day end open ClosedTrade. Download Excel if you keep a journal (not official tax).
- Rules & formulae:
- Do not mix paper PnL with live PnL in your head. The header already splits them.
- BUY open: remaining×(LTP−entry)+par_pl. SELL open: remaining×(entry−LTP)+par_pl. Rounded to 2 decimals. Status words: Added, Entry Signal Generated, awaiting LTP, broker not connected, Exit Signal Generated, plus broker remarks.
- Benefits:
- Main: know if the row is helping or hurting now.
- Bonus: a journal after flatten.
- Watch out:
- A closed row “disappearing” from Trade Entry is success, not a delete bug.
-
Upload Chart / Upload Signal (AI eyes): You show a picture. AI tries to read prices. You MUST confirm the box. Then a TradeEasy row is created. This spends AI Wallet coins.
- Pick the vision model the admin allowed.
- Upload. Wait for Parsing…
- Check strike, buy, stop, hallway, target. Fix mistakes.
- Add to TradeEasy, or apply to an idle existing row (blocked if running).
- Rules & formulae:
- AI can misread a blurry screenshot. Never skip confirm. Chatbot must nag about that.
- Chart hallway default: Limit Upper = buy+1, Price Lower = buy−1.
- Signal “at”: ±1. Signal “above”: lower=buy+1, upper=buy+3. Bubble target may be buy+ATR.
- Apply uses sl_indication=PRICE and resets signals. Status “Updated from screenshot”.
- Benefits:
- Main: skip typing when the idea arrived as a picture.
- Bonus: still human-gated.
- Watch out:
- A wrong strike from OCR is an expensive typo.
-
TradeEasy API (mail slot for partner computers): Another computer POSTs a JSON parcel with header X-TradeEasy-Api-Key. The website only creates or updates the row. The 5-second robot still places the broker order later — not inside that one web request.
- Generate key, copy now. Copy the sample. Send symbol, lots, hallway, SL, target, tsl, trigger band|signal|immediate. trigger signal|immediate sets Entry Sig = 1. Else the hallway waits for the next poll.
- Rules & formulae:
- Same engine seatbelts as the UI. API is not a back door past PAPER/funds/halt.
- Defaults still 10001/10000 and tsl=2 if omitted. PATCH on a running row may only change rstopls, target, exitsignal. DELETE idle only.
- Benefits:
- Main: a signal service can drop rows without clicking.
- Bonus: HMAC proves the parcel was not tampered.
- Watch out:
- Partners who expect “HTTP 200 means bought at the exchange” are wrong. 200 means the row was accepted.
-
Refresh speed, lights, Get Access Token, engine_hold: The dropdown is how often the sheet redraws (0.11s to 30s, or Off). The robot in the back still has its own about-5-second heartbeat. Lights tell you if quotes are alive.
- If you see Get Access Token, click it. If Dhan LTP is 0, read the Data API warning. If Zerodha Personal LTP is 0, you need a Connect app. If engine_hold remark appears, finish token on THIS order computer.
- Rules & formulae:
- Logout warning AUTH-006 is a different door.
- Benefits:
- Main: pairing status before live.
- Bonus: smooth UI independent of the pump.
- Watch out:
- Off + “the robot died” is a mix-up. Check cloud vs desktop (HOME-008).
EasyAlgo
Watchlist alerts, master switch, EXIT ALL, and robot sheets.
- External alert webhooks:
- Setup for third-party alert platforms is documented under EasyAlgo alert webhooks and on EasyAlgo alert webhooks.
-
Watchlist recipes (external scan platform / external chart alert platform / Builder): A named recipe: which outside alarm is allowed, how many lots, stop, and SetTarget points. Each recipe gets its own secret doorbell token.
- Choose Source. Optional symbol. Create strategy.
- Fill lots, SL% or points (not PRICE), SetTarget points > 0. Save.
- Open Webhook to copy URLs (EA-005).
- Rules & formulae:
- Risk is set once; scans ring the bell. Tokenised URL so one person’s knock cannot arm another person’s recipe.
- Benefits:
- Main: reusable recipe per scanner.
- Bonus: one stock per external scan platform knock (enforced later).
- Watch out:
- Saving with SetTarget 0 is blocked. That is on purpose so every alert has a happy price after fill.
-
SetTarget points and other recipe knobs: After a fill, BUY target = entry plus points. SELL target = entry minus points. You can still type an absolute target while it is running.
- Type SetTarget > 0 and SL > 0. Save. Errors show keys settarget, sl, slprice, symbol.
- Rules & formulae:
- PRICE stop is banned here (EA-011).
- Benefits:
- Main: every webhook row gets a target even if the JSON had none.
- Bonus: same SL helpers as TradeEasy minus PRICE.
- Watch out:
- People think SetTarget is “percent of NIFTY”. It is points on the thing you actually traded (stock or option premium as stored).
-
Master Active On / Off: The big light switch. Off = no new entries from any recipe. Trades already open keep following their stop and target until they finish.
- On: recipes can be Act (you can still turn one row Off). Off: all Off. Webhooks then get 403.
- Rules & formulae:
- This is silence, not flatten. Flatten is EXIT ALL.
- Engine: row_allows_new_entries = watchlist_active AND master. If false and not already filled → return (skip new entry). Open positions still get TSL/target/exit.
- Benefits:
- Main: one click to stop a noisy scan day.
- Bonus: existing risk still managed.
- Watch out:
- People hit Off and think open trades die. They do not. Say that clearly.
-
EXIT ALL TRADES: The fire alarm. Flatten everything the robot can flatten, and turn the master Off so new alarms cannot start.
- Read the confirm. Click. Watch rows take Exit Sig and ClosedTrade fill. Master should now be Off.
- Rules & formulae:
- Equivalent to mashing Exit Sig on everything then Master Off.
- 1) master false 2) all templates inactive 3) open rows (filled, not done, entry flag 1, exit flag 0) get all exit signals = 1 4) process_row_algo runs at once on those rows. Paper and live both. Broker rejects show per-row RespErr.
- Benefits:
- Main: leave the field.
- Bonus: pairs with the daily whistle.
- Watch out:
- Broker can still reject a flatten (weekend, ban, disconnected). Check RespErr and the broker book (HOME-003 counts).
-
Doorbells (Entry URL and Exit URL): A webhook is just a web address another website can poke. EasyAlgo gives you an Entry URL and an Exit URL. external scan platform must send exactly one stock per poke.
- external chart alert platform: paste Entry URL into one alert, Exit URL into another. Paste the Message JSON the portal shows. Keep the price placeholder. If the JSON shows easyalgo_api_key, leave it in.
- external scan platform: paste the external scan platform Entry URL. One stock only. HMAC off (EA-006).
- If your PC is the order-sender (Cloud-to-Desktop), the public site forwards the poke to your PC (EA-008).
- Rules & formulae:
- Keep {{close}}. Public HTTPS only. One external scan platform stock.
- More than one external scan platform stock: template status=Error, HTTP 200 with external scan platform true (so external scan platform does not retry-storm) and a message that this recipe accepts only one symbol. Example: “Received 3 symbols: A, B, C”.
- Exit poke sets exitsignal=exit_signal=extsignal=1 on open rows; does nothing if none are open.
- Benefits:
- Main: favourite scan site becomes the eyes; TradeXecute becomes the hands.
- Bonus: Exit URL for flatten from external chart alert platform.
- Watch out:
- Localhost in external scan platform is the classic fail. HMAC on with external scan platform is the second classic fail.
-
Doorbell locks (API key and HMAC): An API key is a secret password on the doorbell. HMAC is a wax seal on the message body. external scan platform cannot send that wax seal — turn HMAC off if you only use external scan platform.
- Turn API key on. Copy it into external chart alert platform JSON or external scan platform query. Leave HMAC off for external scan platform. Turn HMAC on only for partners who can sign bodies.
- Rules & formulae:
- 401 is “wrong key”, not “robot crashed”.
- Benefits:
- Main: stop random POSTs from trading your account.
- Bonus: HMAC proves the body was not changed in flight.
- Watch out:
- A public screenshot of a webhook URL with the key in the query is a leaked doorbell. Rotate the key.
-
Armed row vs waiting clone (LTP±2 and dummy hallway): If last price is known, a new alert arms a tight hallway around it (about last price plus or minus 2) and sets Entry Sig = 1. If last price is missing, it naps on dummy 10001/10000 with status “Webhook queued — awaiting LTP”. If a live row is already busy, a twin can wait in that dummy hallway. Two alarms do not mean two accidental lots unless you armed more on purpose.
- Keep Master On. Let the first row arm. Do not panic if a twin appears — read the dummy hallway and status.
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot: two alarms ≠ two lots by default. The queue is the seatbelt.
- If LTP known: Limit Upper = round(LTP+2, 2), Price Lower = round(LTP−2, 2), entrysignal=1, status “Watchlist Alert Armed”.
- Benefits:
- Main: first alert trades; extras wait.
- Bonus: awaiting LTP instead of a blind market order at 0.
- Watch out:
- People delete the waiting clone thinking it is a bug, then miss the next signal. Read status first.
-
Cloud-to-Desktop relay: external scan platform/external chart alert platform still knock on the public website. The website queues a job. Your PC, logged into the desktop app, actually sends the broker order.
- Install/run the desktop app. Stay logged in. Paste PUBLIC URLs into external scan platform. Watch 202 queued + relay_job_id if you inspect the poke.
- Rules & formulae:
- Never tell users to paste 127.0.0.1 into external scan platform.
- Benefits:
- Main: public doorbell + private order sender.
- Bonus: home PC behind NAT, no open ports.
- Watch out:
- Laptop sleep = remote control batteries out. Broker position may still be open.
-
AlgoTrade, AlgoSheet, ClosedTrade: AlgoTrade is the live cockpit. AlgoSheet is the fat notebook (plus SetTarget points). ClosedTrade is history, including TradeEasy finishes, with Download Excel. A filter shows All, Webhook only, or Strategy Builder only.
- Watch AlgoTrade while something is live. Use the same Live/Paper and stop ideas as TradeEasy. Open ClosedTrade at day end.
- Rules & formulae:
- Excel is a personal journal, not a tax office file.
- Benefits:
- Main: live cockpit vs history.
- Bonus: tell external scan platform apart from Builder.
- Watch out:
- Looking for ClosedTrade under TradeEasy — it is here.
-
EasyAlgo robot (including SELL): Same 5-second heart as TradeEasy, plus master gate, SetTarget, a hallway lock to entry±2 after fill, SELL-aware exits, SELL partials, SELL RR override, option margin gate for Builder, and a Fyers speed bump (~10 orders/sec).
- If you ask “does EasyAlgo exit a SELL when price goes down to target?” — yes. BUY target is LTP ≥ target; SELL target is LTP ≤ target. BUY stop is LTP ≤ RStopLoss; SELL stop is LTP ≥ RStopLoss.
- Rules & formulae:
- “What happens at RR1.5 on EasyAlgo BUY?” = TE-012 number story. On SELL, reaching rr15 (price down to 1.5×) sets the running stop to that rr15 price unless already past 2× (rr12), which snaps to entry−5.
- RR BUY same as TE-012. RR SELL: if LTP < rr12 → entry−5; else if rr13 < LTP ≤ rr15 → RStopLoss = rr15 (this includes tagging 1.5× on the way down); else if LTP ≤ rr13 → rr13+5. First branch still wins at 2×.
- Partial SELL: LTP ≤ partial target and partial target < entry.
- Benefits:
- Main: alert-driven rows still obey stops.
- Bonus: shorts and sold options get the correct sides.
- Watch out:
- Do not copy TradeEasy’s BUY-shaped auto-exit explanation onto EasyAlgo SELL. EasyAlgo is the smarter one for SELL.
-
No PRICE stop on EasyAlgo: If you try to use an absolute stop price on an EasyAlgo recipe, the form says: “Stop Loss Price is not applicable for EasyAlgo”. Use percent or points.
- Pick PCT or PTS. If you need a typed price stop, use TradeEasy (including screenshot import).
- Rules & formulae:
- TradeEasy remains the place for PRICE stops.
- Benefits:
- Main: stops that scale with each new fill.
- Bonus: consistent recipes across alerts.
- Watch out:
- Copy-pasting a TradeEasy PRICE row into EasyAlgo will fail save.
The strategy form
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
- Strategy definition workflow:
- Name & instrument:
- FIXED symbol or OPTIONS_DYNAMIC (index options with leg templates).
- Timeframe (default 5m). NIFTY / BANKNIFTY / FINNIFTY shortcuts fill symbol and lot size.
- Risk & mode:
- Lots, BUY/SELL, PAPER vs live.
- Stop (percent, points, or price where applicable), SetTarget points, TSL points.
- Start blocked if SetTarget or stop-loss values are invalid.
- Entry rules:
- Entry group: IF, AND, OR, or ANY.
- Left operand (indicator or price field), compare (
crosses_above,crosses_below,>,<, …), right operand. - Indicators: EMA, SMA, RSI, MACD, SuperTrend, ADX, Bollinger, Stochastic, ATR, ROC, VWAP, VWMA, Williams %R, OHLC / range / opening range.
- Exit rules:
- Separate exit group (same clause model) or schedule-based square-off.
- Rule-based exits fire on closed candles.
- Schedule (IST):
- Weekdays Mon–Fri.
schedule_start_time(e.g. 09:20), optionalentry_cutoff, optionalexit_atforce-flat.- Time-of-day belongs here — not as fake indicator clauses.
- Option legs (OPTIONS_DYNAMIC):
- Templates: short/long straddle, strangle, iron condor, iron fly.
- Per leg: BUY/SELL, CE/PE, ATM / OTM1–5 / ITM1–5, weekly or monthly expiry.
- Preview strikes and estimated margin before save.
- Fire-once guards:
- Closed candles only.
- Latch after first arm; max entries per IST day.
- No re-fire while condition stays true on the same bar.
- Save → Backtest → Start:
- Backtest snapshots strategy against historical candles and option premium model.
- Start creates EasyAlgo rows tagged STRATEGY_BUILDER.
- Monitor under EasyAlgo → AlgoTrade filter.
- Name & instrument:
- Worked example — Nifty 5m EMA cross:
- Instrument: NIFTY, 5-minute chart, OPTIONS_DYNAMIC.
- Entry: EMA(9) crosses above EMA(26) after 09:20 IST.
- Leg: this week ATM CALL, 1 lot.
- Stop 30 points, target 40 points, square-off at 15:20 IST.
- Max 1 entry per IST day.
- Latch: no second entry while the cross condition remains true on later bars.
- Option structure reference:
- Short straddle: SELL ATM CE + SELL ATM PE — range-bound; unlimited risk if market moves sharply.
- Long straddle: BUY ATM CE + BUY ATM PE — expects big move; defined risk (premium paid).
- Short strangle: SELL OTM CE + SELL OTM PE — wider range; still undefined tail risk.
- Iron condor: short strangle + long wings — credit with capped tail risk.
- Iron fly: short ATM straddle + long wings — tighter range; pin risk near expiry.
- Strike & expiry rules:
- ATM — strike nearest spot at selection time.
- OTM1–5 / ITM1–5 — step by exchange strike interval from ATM.
- Weekly vs monthly expiry series.
- Expiry day — after 15:30 IST, new legs may be blocked or rolled; review preview before Start.
- Backtest expectations:
- Historical candles + simplified option premium model for OPTIONS_DYNAMIC.
- Not a guarantee of live fills, slippage, or margin.
- Blank
exit_atmay differ from intraday square-off assumptions overnight.
- Strategy AI:
- Draft helper — paste a prompt or click a suggestion chip → Apply to form → human must Save.
- Uses AI Wallet; does not auto-Start.
- Six built-in NIFTY examples (OTM2 CALL/PUT, multi-Time Frame EMA + RSI, optional ATR or ADX filters) — see Feature SB-016 on this page.
- User-facing docs say CALL and PUT (not CE/PE) and Time Frame (not TF) when describing 5m vs 15m rules.
-
The strategy form: Name the recipe, pick a candle size (default 5 minutes), and choose Fixed symbol (trade that exact code) or Options (dynamic) (trade option legs that move when the index moves).
- Name it. Pick FIXED or OPTIONS_DYNAMIC. Search a symbol. Lot size fills from the instrument list.
- Set lots, BUY/SELL, PAPER or live, stop % or points, SetTarget points, TSL points.
- Set schedule in IST (SB-004/005). Save. Backtest (SB-008). Start when you want EasyAlgo to listen.
- Rules & formulae:
- You can save without a broker. You cannot honestly live-arm options without one.
- Benefits:
- Main: a repeatable plan, not a one-time click.
- Bonus: the same object is snapshotted for backtest so later edits do not rewrite history.
- Watch out:
- Leaving SetTarget 0 blocks Start. That is the same idea as EasyAlgo recipes.
Option legs
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
Option legs: straddle, strangle, iron condor, iron fly: A template dumps ready-made legs (max 8 custom). Each leg has side BUY/SELL, CALL/PUT, how far from ATM, and expiry policy.
- Open Legs. Load a template or Add leg. Offsets ATM and OTM/ITM 1–5. Preview all legs. Calculate margin if you want a guess (SB-007).
- SHORT_STRADDLE: SELL CE ATM + SELL PE ATM. LONG_STRADDLE: BUY both ATM.
- SHORT_STRANGLE: SELL CE OTM2 + SELL PE OTM2. LONG_STRANGLE: BUY OTM2 both.
- IRON_CONDOR: SELL CE OTM2, BUY CE OTM4, SELL PE OTM2, BUY PE OTM4.
- IRON_FLY: SELL CE/PE ATM, BUY CE/PE OTM2.
- Rules & formulae:
- Each leg can carry its own SL/target/tsl defaults.
- Benefits:
- Main: defined option structures without coding.
- Bonus: wings for defined risk on condor/fly.
- Watch out:
- A short straddle is not “safe because two legs”. It can hurt if price sprints. Iron condor/fly buy wings on purpose.
ATM / OTM / ITM
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
ATM / OTM / ITM and weekly/monthly expiry: ATM = closest strike to spot. OTM1–5 walks away from the money. ITM1–5 walks into the money. Expiry: this week, next week, this month, next month. After 15:30 IST on expiry day, that contract is treated as expired.
- Pick ATM for a straddle. Pick OTM2 for a strangle. Pick weekly unless you mean monthly.
- Rules & formulae:
- Expired after 15:30 IST on expiry day.
- Live: find ATM on the chain, then step along unique strikes. CALL OTM = higher strikes. PUT OTM = lower strikes. ITM inverted.
- Backtest: ATM = round(spot / step) × step (NIFTY step 50). CALL OTM = ATM + step×n. PUT OTM = ATM − step×n.
- Benefits:
- Main: “sell 2 OTM” is a setting, not a daily hunt.
- Bonus: weekly vs monthly policy.
- Watch out:
- “OTM” without a number is not enough. This product wants OTM1–5.
Rules & indicators
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
IF / AND / OR / ANY rules and indicators: Entry and exit groups combine little checks. IF = only the first check. AND = all must be true. OR and ANY = any one true. Indicators include EMA, SMA, RSI, MACD, SuperTrend, ADX, Bollinger, Stoch, ATR, ROC, VWAP, VWMA, Williams %R. Price pieces include last, high, low, open, range, opening range.
- Add clauses. Pick left thing, compare word (crosses_above, crosses_below, >, <, …), right thing.
- Time of day belongs in schedule boxes (start 09:20, cutoff, exit at), not as a fake indicator. Strategy AI is taught that on purpose.
- Rules & formulae:
- Example: {op:AND, clauses:[EMA9 crosses_above EMA26]}.
- Benefits:
- Main: English-like rules without Python.
- Bonus: AND stops “any one noisy tick” if you choose AND.
- Watch out:
- Putting “after 9:20” as an indicator clause is the wrong drawer. Use schedule_start_time.
Fire once
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
Fire once (no spam every candle): Rules fire on a new cross or the first bar of a streak, then stay quiet while the same condition remains true. Only closed candles count. You can cap how many entries per India day (0 = unlimited).
- If someone says “EMA9 is above EMA26 all morning, why only one trade?” — because of the latch. It is working.
- Rules & formulae:
- Persistent true is not a new signal. Cross is a transition.
- Drop the still-open bar. If entry group is false → clear latch. If still true (latched) → skip. If this bar already used → skip. If daily cap hit → skip. If already in a trade → skip but consume the bar. Else arm, consume bar, latch=1.
- Benefits:
- Main: stop every-candle order spam.
- Bonus: daily cap as a fuse.
- Watch out:
- People “fix” this by switching AND to OR and then get spam. Teach the latch first.
Start / Stop
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
Start / Stop → EasyAlgo rows tagged STRATEGY_BUILDER: Start turns the recipe on. When the checker sees a fresh arm, it creates EasyAlgo rows with watchlist_source STRATEGY_BUILDER and status Strategy Builder Armed, Entry Sig already 1.
- Save → Backtest until you are not shocked → Start on the order computer → EasyAlgo → AlgoTrade filter Strategy Builder.
- Rules & formulae:
- Builder = brain. EasyAlgo = hands.
- Benefits:
- Main: one list to watch mixed with webhooks.
- Bonus: filter tells them apart.
- Watch out:
- Starting twice, killing the PC, then wondering why nothing arms — 503 / local evaluator.
Margin guess
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
Margin guess before live options: A pocket calculator for “how much money might this combo need?”. PAPER always passes. Live INTRADAY/CNC is designed to pass only when a real broker basket says OK and required ≤ available — if the basket is missing, the site falls back to a rough guess.
- Preview legs. Calculate margin. If live start fails margin, use PAPER or wait for a broker basket number.
- Rules & formulae:
- Estimates are not exchange SPAN.
- BUY leg ≈ premium × qty. SELL index: span_est = max(premium×qty, spot×0.10×qty) + exposure spot×0.035×qty.
- IRON_CONDOR / IRON_FLY: wing_width × lot_size × lots × 1.10. STRADDLE / STRANGLE: standalone × 0.70 (hedge haircut).
- Benefits:
- Main: fewer rejected live multi-leg orders.
- Bonus: compare structures before Start.
- Watch out:
- Do not treat the guess as a guarantee the broker will accept the order.
Backtest
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
Backtest — walking old candles (with a full example): A history exam. The computer walks old candles (and a model of option prices) and lists pretend trades. Past is still not the future.
- Pick a start date. Run Backtest.
- Read the summary, the little equity line (pretend money over time), and the trade table.
- Download Excel if you want to study later.
- Live uses your weekday ticks. Backtest always walks Monday–Friday, then can hide days you unticked.
- Rules & formulae:
- WORKED EXAMPLE a 12-year-old can retell: “Nifty 5-minute, EMA9 crosses above EMA26 after 9:20, buy this week’s ATM CALL, stop 30 points, target 40 points, everyone out at 15:20, max 1 entry per day”.
- On a 5-minute candle that closes 09:25 where EMA9 just crossed above EMA26, decide_entry arms once. Strike = rounded ATM. Premium = Black-Scholes(spot, strike, days left, VIX). Target = entry+40. Stop = entry−30. If a later candle’s high tags the target on the model, the exit reason is target. That same candle cannot arm again (latch + bar used). Next India day the counter resets.
- Options: Black-Scholes. T = days_to_expiry/365. IV = VIX close / 100. If T≤0, use intrinsic value (the obvious leftover).
- Each bar: (1) skip if weekend/before 09:20; (2) if in a trade, reprice the option on that bar’s open/high/low/close; leave in this order: target, then TSL ratchet, then SL, then clock cutoff; (3) evaluate rules on this closed bar (a cross uses the previous bar); (4) decide_entry fire-once; (5) on arm, pick strike + expiry, entry = model price, SL/target from the same helpers as live; (6) continue; (7) BUY PnL = (exit premium − entry premium) × qty (sell legs flip).
- Benefits:
- Main: history exam before live Start.
- Bonus: humility from the equity wiggle.
- Watch out:
- A pretty equity line is not a promise. Chatbot must say that every time.
Strategy AI
Strategy Builder — Rule-based strategies, option legs, backtest, and Start into EasyAlgo.
-
Strategy AI: A chat helper that knows the indicator list and can draft clauses. Apply to Builder pastes them into the form. It spends AI Wallet coins. It does not Start live by itself. Six NIFTY OTM2 example prompts are available as suggestion chips (see SB-016).
- Open Strategy AI. Pick a model. Click a suggestion chip or paste a prompt in plain English.
- If a strategy draft card appears, press Apply to Builder, then read every line (CALL/PUT leg, Time Frame on each rule, SL/target/TSL, 09:20 start, 15:15 exit) before Save.
- Rules & formulae:
- Not auto-start. Humans save.
- Schedule times (9:20 start, 15:15 exit) go in schedule fields — not as fake indicator clauses.
- Documentation uses CALL and PUT (not CE/PE) and Time Frame (not TF) for user-facing examples.
- Benefits:
- Main: faster first draft.
- Bonus: six copy-paste NIFTY templates in-app and on this Features page.
- Watch out:
- LLMs hallucinate. A draft that looks professional can still be wrong — verify OTM2 and next weekly expiry.
-
Strategy AI — six NIFTY OTM2 example prompts: Standard prompts you can paste into Strategy AI (or click as chips) to build a NIFTY next-week OTM2 CALL or PUT strategy with EMA9×EMA21 on 5 Min Time Frame, RSI on 15 Min Time Frame, optional ATR or ADX filters, SL 8 pts, target 10 pts, TSL 2 pts, start 09:20, square-off 15:15.
- Example 1 — CALL: EMA9 crossed above EMA21 (5 Min Time Frame) AND RSI14 >= 50 (15 Min Time Frame). Leg: BUY next weekly OTM2 CALL.
- Example 2 — PUT: EMA9 crossed below EMA21 (5m) AND RSI14 < 45 (15m). Leg: BUY next weekly OTM2 PUT.
- Example 3 — CALL + ATR: EMA cross above (5m), RSI >= 50 (15m), ATR 14 > ATR 50 (volatility expansion). Leg: OTM2 CALL next week.
- Example 4 — PUT + ATR: EMA cross below (5m), RSI < 50 (15m), ATR 14 < ATR 50 (contraction). Leg: OTM2 PUT next week.
- Example 5 — CALL + ADX trend: EMA cross above (5m), RSI >= 50 (15m), ADX14 >= 25. Leg: OTM2 CALL next weekly.
- Example 6 — CALL + weak ADX (counter-trend): EMA cross below (5m), RSI < 50 (15m), ADX14 < 25 — prompt says CALL; consider PUT for directional alignment.
- After AI returns draft: Apply to Builder → verify Time Frame on each clause → Save → Backtest.
- Rules & formulae:
- Apply fills: symbol NSE:NIFTY50-INDEX, OPTIONS_DYNAMIC, schedule_start_time 09:20, exit_at_time 15:15, SL 8 PTS, target 10, TSL 2.
- Multi-Time Frame: chart Time Frame stays 5m; RSI operands carry 15m Time Frame in params.
- ATR 14 vs ATR 50 compares ATR percentage (ATRP) in the engine.
- Exit SL/target/TSL/time only — no invented EMA exit clause unless you ask for one.
- Benefits:
- Main: learn prompt-to-form mapping without reading JSON.
- Bonus: same examples in Help chat, website, and desktop/mobile Strategy AI chips.
- Watch out:
- Example 6 is counter-trend CALL — review leg direction before live Start.
- next weekly / next week maps to NEXT_WEEKLY expiry policy.
Symbol report
Market EasyAI — Symbol and sector AI reports billed via AI Wallet.
-
Ask for a symbol report: A two-column page: your question on the left, a structured homework report on the right. It can study a symbol using prices, some company numbers, multi-time pictures, and words.
- Type something like NIFTY or ITC, or a longer question. Pick model, risk style, chart yes/no. Send. Read. Check tokens, cost, wallet remaining. Optional Word (MEAI-003).
- Rules & formulae:
- Does not place orders. Section 12 of the prompt requires a SEBI-style disclaimer.
- Benefits:
- Main: structured homework at the desk.
- Bonus: MTF + structure without five websites.
- Watch out:
- A confident paragraph is still homework. Chatbot must not upgrade it to a buy call.
Sector report
Market EasyAI — Symbol and sector AI reports billed via AI Wallet.
-
Sector / industry report: Fill Sector / Industry (IT, Bank, …). You may even leave the symbol empty. Then you get a sector essay without a single-name chart or multi-time table.
- Type a sector. Send. Do not expect a price chart. Read the shorter disclaimer section.
- Rules & formulae:
- Still not advice.
- Benefits:
- Main: “how is IT looking?” without a ticker.
- Bonus: still not advice.
- Watch out:
- People fill sector and then complain “where is my RELIANCE chart?”. Explain the two modes.
Model, chart, Word
Market EasyAI — Symbol and sector AI reports billed via AI Wallet.
-
Model, risk style, chart, Word export, disclaimer: Pick which AI brain, how bold the tone is (Conservative / Balanced / Aggressive — this is wording, not a position-size robot), whether to include a price picture, then optional Export Word. The footer must say this is teaching material.
- Balanced is default. Indices may draw a Plotly/market data provider candle picture. Equities may embed external chart alert platform (sometimes a BSE trick for NSE names). Export Word after a good report.
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot, if asked “is this a buy?”, must repeat: no. It is teaching material.
- Benefits:
- Main: choose brain + tone + keep a Word copy.
- Bonus: skip chart to save coins.
- Watch out:
- Aggressive tone is not “the website told me to leverage”.
Brokers
Nine Indian brokers, Get Access Token, and session health.
-
Pick one of nine brokers and save the locker number: Paste the Redirect URL into the broker’s developer site exactly as TradeXecute shows it. One wrong letter breaks login. Saving does not finish today’s token — that is Get Access Token.
- Click a logo. Paste IDs/secrets/redirect as the form labels. Save. Look for a green “this one is active” badge after you also get a token.
- Rules & formulae:
- Redirect must match byte-for-byte.
- Benefits:
- Main: the only door to the exchange.
- Bonus: one active avoids dual-order chaos.
- Watch out:
- A space at the end of the redirect URL is enough to break OAuth.
-
Get Access Token (today’s key): Morning ritual (and whenever it expires): click Get Access Token until the badge is green and last price is not stuck at 0 for a silly reason.
- Fyers / Upstox / Dhan / Zerodha: finish the broker login page.
- Angel One: MPIN + a fresh 6-digit TOTP (device clock must be right).
- Groww: daily approval or paste token.
- Alice Blue: auth code / session paste.
- Shoonya: 2FA at login; password saved for API as the field map designs.
- 5paisa: token exchange.
- Rules & formulae:
- Tokens expire. This is a daily-ish chore, not a one-time install.
- Benefits:
- Main: the robot can quote and order today.
- Bonus: TOTP never sits in the database.
- Watch out:
- TOTP reused or clock skew = Angel fails. Do not store TOTP in a spreadsheet.
-
Yellow warning signs (not decoration): If last price stays 0, read the yellow box before blaming TradeXecute. Dhan without Data API, Zerodha Personal, Angel IP mismatch, Shoonya options block — these are setup issues.
- LTP 0? Check: token green? Dhan Data API? Zerodha Connect vs Personal? engine_hold? PC awake in relay mode?
- Rules & formulae:
- Chatbot should surface these before “the website is broken”.
- Benefits:
- Main: fail loudly before a live click.
- Bonus: fewer support tickets.
- Watch out:
- Going live with LTP 0 means the robot cannot see. It will wait or misbehave. Do not.
-
Disconnect broker: Throw away today’s key. Live quotes and live orders stop. Open exchange positions remain — you must babysit at the broker or reconnect and Exit Sig / EXIT ALL.
- Disconnect if the token is stolen/expired or you are switching shops. Then check HOME-003 counts.
- Rules & formulae:
- Different from website Logout (AUTH-006) and from admin kill switch (SYS-003).
- Benefits:
- Main: drop a bad session.
- Bonus: switch brokers cleanly.
- Watch out:
- Disconnect is not flatten.
Search the diary
Audit / Logs — Search, export, and API access to audit trails.
-
Search the diary: Every important poke (orders, signals, errors, your clicks, API calls, risk limits, order life) can be stored. You search your own public id. Admins can tick All users.
- Pick a report type. Filter. Load results. If empty, try the neighbouring UTC date. Generate HOME-011 key first if you are using extract samples.
- Rules & formulae:
- UTC vs IST must be explained when users miss rows.
- Benefits:
- Main: prove what the robot saw.
- Bonus: admin support across users.
- Watch out:
- Do not promise the UI used IST day bounds — it uses UTC calendar dates for YYYY-MM-DD.
Export CSV or JSON
Audit / Logs — Search, export, and API access to audit trails.
-
Export CSV or JSON: Download the filtered diary for Excel or a script. Capped at 5000 rows.
- Filter first (so you do not export the ocean). Export.
- Rules & formulae:
- Not official P&L.
- Benefits:
- Main: offline study.
- Bonus: attach to a support ticket.
- Watch out:
- Huge exports may truncate at 5000. Say that.
Diary API samples
Audit / Logs — Search, export, and API access to audit trails.
-
Diary API samples (Python / JavaScript): Copy-paste examples that send header X-Audit-Api-Key. Generate the key in Home first. It does not place trades.
- HOME-011 generate → copy key → paste into sample → run against /logs/....
- Rules & formulae:
- Rotate when someone leaves.
- Benefits:
- Main: scripts without the website password.
- Bonus: least privilege vs a full login cookie.
- Watch out:
- Pasting the key into a public GitHub gist is leaking the diary.
Hidden queue
Audit / Logs — Search, export, and API access to audit trails.
-
Hidden queue so the diary does not slow the robot: On a busy day, stories line up in Redis, then a worker writes them to the database. If Redis is sick, they spill into a dated text file so stories are not lost. The trading hot path does not wait for the diary to finish writing.
- If the UI is empty after an outage, ops can look at audit_spill_YYYYMMDD.jsonl or audit_db_failed_YYYYMMDD.jsonl.
- Rules & formulae:
- Never sync-write the DB on the 5-second hot path.
- Benefits:
- Main: reliability under load.
- Bonus: forensics for operators.
- Watch out:
- “Logs missing” might be a queue delay, not “nothing happened”.
5-second robot
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
The 5-second robot heartbeat: You do not see a tab called Robot. It still matters more than any pretty table. About every 5 seconds it visits open TradeEasy and EasyAlgo rows (one batch at a time).
- If live rows stop moving, check: kill switch, migrate pending, desktop_relay on cloud (cloud skips — PC should run), token, LTP.
- Rules & formulae:
- UI Off ≠ robot Off on cloud.
- Benefits:
- Main: watches many rows without human F5.
- Bonus: one instance avoids double orders from overlapping ticks.
- Watch out:
- Closing a laptop on desktop_relay DOES stop that robot.
Builder checker
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Strategy Builder 20-second checker: A slower heart for bar-based rules. It loads RUNNING strategies, uses closed candles, evaluates rules, maybe arms EasyAlgo.
- Start a strategy. If nothing arms, check schedule, latch, desktop online, kill switch.
- Rules & formulae:
- Slower than LTP ticks on purpose.
- Benefits:
- Main: turn rule truth into an armed row.
- Bonus: closed-bar discipline.
- Watch out:
- Expecting a 5-second EMA cross is the wrong clock.
Admin kill switch
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Admin kill switch: The operator can freeze NEW paid entries for a user. Getting out (flatten) is still allowed. HTTP 423 KILL_SWITCH “Trading is paused (kill switch).”
- If a user sees 423 kill switch, they should flatten if needed and talk to support — they cannot “click harder” past it.
- Rules & formulae:
- Not the same as Master Off (user-owned) or Intraday whistle (PnL-owned).
- Benefits:
- Main: operator freeze.
- Bonus: still allows getting out.
- Watch out:
- Do not tell users to edit the database.
One order computer
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Only one computer may send orders: During a move between cloud and PC (pending_mode), engines pause so both machines do not buy the same row. require_execution_host blocks the wrong host.
- Do not arm live rows while the progress bar is running. Finish or abort migrate first.
- Rules & formulae:
- Single writer.
- Benefits:
- Main: no dual brain.
- Bonus: controlled moves between laptop and server.
- Watch out:
- Force finish is an operator tool — not a toy.
Desktop app
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Desktop app (Electron): A windowed TradeXecute on your PC. It can run the local robots, receive relay jobs, push snapshots, and poll whether you still have a ticket. Administration tab is hidden. Broker login prefers 127.0.0.1 on this machine.
- Install. Log in. If relay mode, leave it running through the session. Apply updates when asked if you want bugfixes.
- Rules & formulae:
- Must stay running for desktop_relay live trades.
- Benefits:
- Main: home-PC execution host.
- Bonus: some people do not want the cloud to press their broker button.
- Watch out:
- Sleep, VPN drops, and quitting the app all stop the local robot.
Phone app
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Phone app and pokes: A Flutter phone app using the same login. It can show funds, some scans, and a poke when a trade enters or exits. The order computer is still cloud or desktop — the phone is mostly eyes and a few buttons. You must accept a risk disclaimer before trading features.
- Install. Log in. Allow notifications. If a control is missing vs the website, say “use the website for that” rather than inventing a phone-only myth.
- Rules & formulae:
- Not every dashboard control exists on Flutter. [If unsure, say web-only.]
- Benefits:
- Main: pokes when a trade moves while you are away from the desk.
- Bonus: same login as web.
- Watch out:
- A poke is not a flatten. Open the app or the broker.
Website and PC sync
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Keeping website and PC in sync: Strategies, algo rows, templates, and even “this was deleted” tombstones copy both ways with version numbers so the two devices do not fork into two different brains.
- After mode switch or desktop login, wait for sync to settle before editing the same strategy on both sides at once.
- Rules & formulae:
- Delete on one side should stay deleted (tombstones).
- Benefits:
- Main: one brain, two devices.
- Bonus: deletes stay deleted.
- Watch out:
- Editing the same strategy on phone-web and PC at the same second is how forks happen. Finish one save first.
Administration desk
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Administration desk (website owner only): A secret teacher’s desk: users, execution mode, logos, ticket prices, Strategy Builder candle source, market data pipes, AI providers. Hidden in the desktop app. Admin also skips the paid-ticket lock and may skip the AI Wallet minimum.
- Operators create users, set who is cloud vs desktop, paste logos, change ₹150/1500/10000, refresh OpenRouter prices, pick LLM catalogs.
- Rules & formulae:
- Admin bypasses subscription.
- Benefits:
- Main: operate the product.
- Bonus: branding white-label bits.
- Watch out:
- Stop Server on a live morning is an incident, not a click toy.
Symbol checks
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Symbol checks and “never trust a zero tick”: Add/Trade-from-market/Options-resolve paths check that the active broker knows the line. A good last price is never overwritten with a zero from a bad tick.
- If LTP is 0 for a long time, it is usually setup (BRK-003), not “price is actually zero”.
- Rules & formulae:
- Wrong symbol is the most expensive typo — resolve APIs exist to prevent it.
- Benefits:
- Main: broker-known codes only.
- Bonus: stale zeros do not fake a stop hit as easily.
- Watch out:
- A true 0.05 rupee penny name is rare here. 0.00 for RELIANCE is a feed problem.
Do not buy twice
Platform & safety — Scheduler, desktop relay, mobile sync, and safety rules.
-
Do not buy twice from two clicks: Database “only one winner” updates stop two overlapping ticks or a double-click from buying twice. Exit has a similar lock on the exit order id.
- If a user reports two lots from one idea, collect logs (AUD-001) — it may still be two recipes or two symbols, not a missed lock.
- Rules & formulae:
- This is why the robot is boring on purpose. Boring is safer than surprise.
- Benefits:
- Main: no duplicate lots from races.
- Bonus: audit-friendly single order id.
- Watch out:
- Two external scan platform recipes on the same name can still be two lots on purpose.
Calculations
Formulae reference for entry, exit, stops, targets, and P&L.
-
Quantity:
- pieces = Lot × Lot_Size
- early-exit pieces = Part.Lot × Lot_Size
-
Hallway:
- if Price Lower ≤ last price ≤ Limit Upper, the entry flag can go up
- 10000–10001 is a fake hallway. Do not treat it as a buy zone.
-
Stop after fill:
- percent BUY: stop = entry × (1 − percent/100)
- percent SELL: stop = entry × (1 + percent/100)
- points BUY: stop = entry − points
- points SELL: stop = entry + points
- typed price: stop = the number you typed (TradeEasy only)
- if stop would be negative, use 1.00
-
Risk stick:
- risk = |entry − stop|
- BUY 1.5× price (column RR1.5) = entry + 1.5 × risk example: 400 and stop 392 → 412
- BUY 2× price (column RR1.2) = entry + 2.0 × risk → 416
- BUY 3× price (column RR1.3) = entry + 3.0 × risk → 424
-
If last price reaches 412 (RR1.5) and is still below 424::
- running stop becomes 412
- If last price then goes past 416 (2×):
- running stop becomes entry + 5 = 405
- (the 3× branch never runs on BUY because 2× is checked first)
-
Trailing BUY:
- extra steps = floor(max(0, last − entry) / TSL)
- running stop climbs by extra steps × TSL
- then the RR rules above may overwrite it in the same 5-second tick
-
SetTarget:
- BUY happy price = entry + SetTarget points
- SELL happy price = entry − SetTarget points
-
Open score:
- BUY: leftover pieces × (last − entry) + already banked partial
- SELL: leftover pieces × (entry − last) + already banked partial
-
Option PCR:
- PCR = round(all put contracts ÷ all call contracts, 2) using the FULL chain
-
Technical quiz:
- 10+ up ticks = Extreme Bullish; 7+ = Strong; 4+ and more up than down = Moderate
- same for down; else WAIT
-
AI piggy bank:
- tax inside a top-up: gst = round(gross × 18 / 118)
- coin cost = ceil(tokens × paise_per_million / 1_000_000)
-
Intraday whistle (IST day):
- score = open Intraday tmppl + Intraday closed today
- whistle if score ≥ profit limit, or score ≤ −loss limit
TradeXecute explains how automation works. It is not a promise of profit. Start in PAPER when learning.
EasyAlgo alert webhooks
- External alert webhooks:
- Vendor-specific setup (entry/exit URLs, message JSON) is documented on a dedicated page.
- Not duplicated inside every EasyAlgo feature entry.

Common journeys
- Journey A — Morning cockpit:
- Log in and check Home funds.
- Broker Setting → Get Access Token until the badge is green. Read yellow signs if LTP is 0.
- If you need scanners or the robot, confirm your subscription badge is active.
- If you will use AI, check AI Wallet is above the minimum.
- Journey B — I pick the trade myself:
- Review Market, Options, or Chart.
- Hover Trade, or type the symbol in TradeEasy.
- Start in PAPER. Set a real entry band (not dummy 10000/10001). Set stop, target, trailing.
- When ready, switch to INTRADAY before the row is running.
- Watch header P&L. Use Exit Sig = 1 to exit now.
- Stay logged in on the order computer until the row completes, or monitor at the broker.
- Journey C — External alert → EasyAlgo:
- EasyAlgo → create watchlist recipe → copy the public webhook.
- Configure your external alert platform using the Webhook modal (see webhook documentation).
- Master Active On. First row trades; extras wait in the dummy-band queue.
- Use EXIT ALL if you want silence and a flat book.
- Journey D — Rules I wrote yesterday:
- Strategy Builder → Save → Run Backtest. Read the equity curve — past is not the future.
- If acceptable, Start on the order computer.
- Watch EasyAlgo → AlgoTrade, filter Strategy Builder.
- Journey E — Homework only (Market EasyAI):
- Market EasyAI → Send → read the disclaimer → optional Export Word.
- To trade later, arm TradeEasy or EasyAlgo yourself — the report does not place orders.
- Journey F — A picture became a row:
- Upload chart or signal screenshot. Confirm every number. Add row. Verify band/SL. PAPER first.
