Desktop webhook relay

Public alert URL → PC when your workstation is not reachable from the internet.

Why relay is needed

External alert products send webhooks to a public HTTPS URL. A desktop FastAPI instance on localhost is not directly reachable from the cloud. In desktop_relay execution mode, the cloud receives the webhook and forwards work to your desktop agent.

Flow

1. Cloud endpoint receives the webhook (/api/relay/public/webhook/… or standard EasyAlgo webhook path)
2. When the user is in desktop_relay mode, cloud enqueues a durable relay job
3. Desktop agent consumes the job over authenticated WebSocket and forwards to local EasyAlgo/TradeEasy handlers
4. Execution mode is configured under Home → User settings or by admin

Security

• Keep EasyAlgo API key and optional HMAC checks on final webhook processing
• Agent WebSocket requires a device token from /api/devices/register
• Host relay on HTTPS (CLOUD_BASE_URL)
